Check24, Germany’s leading comparison portal, serves over 15 million customers across various sectors, including insurance, energy, finance, telecommunications, travel, and shopping. Recently, the company launched the THG bonus program (Treibhausgasminderung, meaning greenhouse gas reduction) to encourage eco-friendly mobility. This initiative allows electric vehicle owners to certify and sell their CO₂ savings to petrol companies.

The project workflow begins with users uploading an image of their legal document through a frontend application. The system extracts relevant data from the image, processes it, and stores it in the database. The extracted information is then reviewed and certified by administrators.

As part of this project, I developed the frontend, backend, and back-office applications to support this workflow.
